April Vacation in North Conway, NH

We spent two nights in North Conway, New Hampshire... getting away from it all and enjoying the outdoors.  Here are some photos from the trip.

Day #2: We took a scenic drive looking for a good place to hike.  We were unprepared for how snowy the trails were!  Many of the parking lots and trails weren't even plowed out.

 Snow covered Mt. Washington

We decided to try the Arethusa Falls trail.  Trying to maneuver around the rocks, water and slippery ice was a bit tricky.  Going down was even harder!  We never made it to the top but it was a good hike nonetheless.

Eva designated herself as the hike leader, searching high and low for the blue paint which marked the trail.

The higher we got, the more snow there was!

Our cabin had an outdoor pool (which obviously wasn't open!) but the kids were delighted to go in the hot tub.

The place where we stayed had a large meeting room with plenty of games and puzzles.  The girls and I spent several hours here one afternoon while Liam and Daddy napped.

The kids, all tucked in for bed

Day #3: After breakfast and checking out of our cabin, we made the short drive to Diana's Baths.  This was a much easier (and warmer) hike than the previous day.  The big payoff was the waterfall!
