Today's All-Town Band Concert was fun, though surprisingly short! The whole thing was over in 45 minutes. (Due to another approaching snowstorm, the directors kept things moving along so everyone could get home safely.)
Each of the bands played one piece, and then for the grand finale, all six Marshfield Bands played together.
Amanda's 4th and 5th grade Band, 130 members strong, sounded amazingly good! I would even go so far as to say they played BETTER than the 7th grade Band.
Here they are, performing 'Rio Bravo.'
Here is the grand finale, 'We Will Rock You'... featuring the Elementary Band, the three Middle School Bands, and the two High School Bands.
The two High School Bands (Concert Band and Wind Ensemble) played 'Happy', which was a real crowd pleaser. All of the other bands spontaneously started clapping and moving to the music.
