We will be heading down on Friday morning, and letting the kids skip a day of school. (Shhhh....) We'll spend Friday night in Hyannis, at a hotel with a pool, and explore the area a bit. If the weather is cooperative, we may try biking the Cape Cod bike trail.
On Saturday, we'll meet up with our two Dinner Club families, and stay for two nights at a rental house in Falmouth. The house looks dreamy - very open and spacious, with a private beach and tennis courts.
The men are happy that there's a grill, the women are excited about the hot tub, and the kids are thrilled about the room with four bunk beds.
I would love to sit here and catch up on some reading...
Believe it or not, there's even a piano!
Renting a house was surprisingly affordable. We can stay for two nights, and spend less than we did for ONE night at the Great Wolf Lodge.
Dave suggested taking the kids to see the seals that have suddenly appeared in droves along the coast... We won't be going in the water, that's for sure.
In any case, I predict awesome meals, great music, lots of laughter, and late nights talking about everything under the sun.
Back to packing....

Well, so much for biking. Eva sprained her ankle and came home from the ER with an air cast and crutches.
Bad news: no walking on it for 4-8 days
Good news: she can still swim
The other bad news is that I have a sinus infection, but am on antibiotics and will hopefully start feeling better soon.
Let's hope the rest of the vacation is relatively uneventful.
