It was a gorgeous drive with the foliage at its peak, especially in the Walden Pond area.
When we arrived at the hotel, the lobby was mobbed with families waiting to check in. Not only was it Howlin Halloween, with lots of kids' activities going on, but there was also a Little People Convention going on. Ironically, we recognized two of the little people from our town.
We all got into our bathing suits quickly and headed down to the waterpark. Everyone divided smaller groups like the buddy system, with some on the waterslides and some in the lazy river.
This was the first time Liam was tall enough for the "big" waterslides. He loved it!
The chums - minus Maisy and Darien
Unfortunately the time passed too quickly and we didn't get as much time to hang out as we had wanted. We decided that next year, we will do a bigger trip.
The Dinner Club is heading to New Hampshire over Columbus Day weekend. Three nights in a gorgeous house in the mountains!
