Thanksgiving Day 2015

In the morning, the kids went over to the neighbor's house and raked leaves for him. Mister Rodger was so appreciative and gave them $4 each! What a great start to the day.

With the kids gone for a few hours, I had plenty of time to get ready for hosting Dave's family.

As usual, we had enough for to feed an army. Not only did we have a 25 pound turkey, but Omi also made Sauerbraten. The men roasted the turkey on the Weber grill, as they always do, but this time it got a little overdone.

While we waited for the turkey to be done, we all played Apples to Apples. Lots of laughs there...

The kids spent time playing PlayStation games, running around outside, and putting together tons of puzzles.

For dessert, we had a traditional pumpkin pie along with a vegan pumpkin pie and coconut whipped cream.

Fabulous meal, indeed!
