School has been canceled.
The look on Amanda's face was priceless when she heard the news. She walked into my dark bedroom, after looking out of her window and seeing that there wasn't any snow.
At 7:00 am
"No snow. We have school today," she said glumly.
To which I said,"The snow is supposed to start at 7:00 am. They canceled school!"
It took a second for it to register with her, and then she went running to tell Eva and Liam.
Sure enough, the snow started right at 7:00. The prediction is 4-8".
Seeing how it's been between 50-70* this past week, it seems odd to be surprised with this snow, but who doesn't love an unexpected three day weekend?

No, Dave used the snow blower. We haven't had to pay for plowing at all this year.. However, we are getting another storm tomorrow morning and they're saying 7" or more. Looks like another snow day. I hope all of the snow comes early in the week so you'll have smooth sailing on Thursday's flight!
