We were gone from April 16-19th. It was a whirlwind trip!

Paradise Island- Cabbage Beach: We spent nearly all of Friday here and it was heavenly. There was a Beach Party held here that afternoon, complete with volleyball and a boat building competition.

Relaxing in the sun: Despite taking precautions, we both suffered severe sunburns and heat stroke. That put a damper on the rest of the weekend. A week later, and my skin is peeling like a lizard!

We had a phenomenal meal at Seafire Steakhouse, but the prices were outrageous. Luckily we had dining credit to use up!

The amenities included TONS of tennis courts...
And an assortment of bikes for us to use.
But we didn't bike or play tennis. We primarily stuck to the pool and the ocean.
One morning before breakfast, we walked though the Versailles Gardens, all the way to the Cloister at the very top. We made it back for our poolside breakfast right as the downpour started.

It was an opportunity of a lifetime to go on this trip and be spoiled with extravagant meals, luxuries and a pampering staff. But at the end of the day, that type of vacation just isn't our cup of tea. It's too over the top.
It was fun to meet all of the Intralinks employees from Germany, Scotland, Amsterdam, etc. Everyone was very pleasant and friendly, and it was interesting to see how the "rich and famous" live, but it's really not our cup of tea.
There's something to be said for low-key vacations that include the whole family and we both agree that we need to do more of that in the future.
We just booked a week long summer vacation on Lake Champlain in upstate New York! (And this time, we will make sure to reapply sunscreen more often.)
