We had the dining room floor in the house completely refinished. This time we hired some workers to handle the job and we are very pleased with their work.
They spent one day sanding the original floor, putting on sealant and final two coats of poly. In a little over a day, here's what we ended up with:

Today Dave will be busy cleaning up all the dust and repainting the baseboards.
The next project is painting the trim on the house. We hired a painter who started a few days ago and already, it is starting to look better. I will need to get some 'before' and 'after' shots of that too.
We're plugging along...
