Anya and Amanda picked right up where they left off last summer and were instant friends again. They are so similar in personality! Eva was a bit shy and was happiest when coloring independently.
Liam and Simon are only a few months apart in age and I'm sure they will become little buddies as they grow older too.
Little Simon wasted no time, apparently eager to get their friendship started. As soon as the toy boys were put down on the rug together, Simon began to suck on Liam's big toe! It was hilarious.
What's even funnier was seeing Liam's shocked expression. I can't help but smile at this picture.
Despite efforts to pull Simon away, he kept coming back for more. By the look on Simon's face here, perhaps Liam needs a bath?

After a while, we had a picnic outside on the patio and managed to fend off the mosquitos. They were relentless... and big too!
Soon Jenny arrived with Josie and Mary. After a short period of warming up to new people and catching up, we all walked to a neighborhood playground.
The girls played together, climbing and creating obstacle courses. Before we knew it, it was time to head home. Time sure flies with this crowd!
Here are some more photos of the day.
