Candlepin Bowling

I signed the girls up for the Kids Bowl Free program this summer. Kids can bowl two free games every day of the summer. I also purchased a $25 Family Pass which allows Dave, myself, or a chaperone to bowl for free each day too. It's a really great deal. All we pay for is shoes, which came to $10 for the three of us.

On Monday, we went for the first time.

I decided to have the girls try candlepin bowling without the bumpers. After the first frame, I started to second guess that decision, but it was too late to go back. In the end, I'm glad they tried it because it made it more challenging and allowed them to practice their aim.

They were both tired after one game, which was fine, because we had been running errands for the past two hours and I was starting to drag too.

This will be a good activity to do with the kids when it's too hot to be outside!
