As of this morning, they have named the storm Winter Storm Jonas. Depending upon which track the storm takes, we could get anywhere from 12-36" of snow.
This graphic shows us in the highest risk area. We are located right at the tip of the arrow, where it says 18.
At least we are well-versed in storm preparation by this point. We had more of our trees trimmed in October, so the biggest limbs were taken care of. Dave will check the generator today to make sure that it has gas and starts up. I'll handle the grocery shopping and food prep...and the kids will find all of their hats, mittens, scarves, and snow toys!
When I told Liam he'll be getting a blizzard for his birthday, he was thrilled. What more could a six year old ask for? He is having a party with some of his classmates here at the house on Friday afternoon, hopefully ahead of the storm.
