Final day

We woke up to rain...gray skies...and storms predicted.

Dave asked what I thought about heading home a day early. Back home, a sunny weekend was predicted - perfect for a beach day, time by the pool or even a bike ride. It didn't take much convincing, much to my surprise, and everyone got busy packing as soon as breakfast was finished.

We were on the road by 9:30 am, ready to endure the 6+ hour drive. This time, we are doing the fastest way possible.

We crossed the bridge over Erie Canal at 12:30, so we still have about 4 hours to go.

Albany, NY

Hudson River

We entered MA at 1:20 pm so we're making good time.

If all goes well, we should be home around dinner time and we will celebrate with dinner at Cancun! We are all craving Mexican food...

Goodbye, Heron Ledge. Thanks for some terrific memories.
