The verdict?
Amanda's eyes were fine. Big sigh of relief there. She had really been dreading the appointment, and was worried. She definitely did NOT want glasses.
Eva, on the other hand, had some trouble with the distance part of the exam. We found out that she is near-sighted like her Daddy, and would need glasses. She was delighted and selected a very sharp looking pair of frames, sort of tortoise shell on the top and a light turquoise on the bottom.
When she described the glasses to Amanda later, she exclaimed,"I look just like Lois Lane!!"
